Ape-ifanys is the third single from Mocky’s upcoming orchestral album "Overtones For The Omniverse" which is out on vinyl, digital and as an exclusive japanese CD version on july 30iest - and it finds his compositional pen incorporating elements reminiscent of minimalism, Steve Reich or Dorothy Ashby. Mocky, explaining the neologism of the title: " “Ape -ifanys “ refers to all these breakthroughs we have and decisions we take trying to find our way through life but we are still eternally tied to our biology and that causes conflict, sometimes good, some times bad.“
