Keep Feelin' This (Jamie) How did everything get so serious? How did everything get so real? I know the best things happen when we play So how did everything get so real? Tonight I'm gonna dance Forget about my sorrow I'm gonna put down my bags YEAH don’t worry about them 'til tomorrow (Mocky) Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this (Jamie ) If I listened to the voices in my head I doubt that I would ever make it out of bed And I'd never get to see your smiling face I know the best things happen when we play But there's a world of worry in my way (Mocky) Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this (repeat) (Jamie ) We can get serious when the morning comes But right now It's time to light it up just a little a bit OH! It's time to light it up just a little a bit We can pick it all up when the light comes around But now It's time to light it up just a little a bit OH! It's time to light it up just a little a bit (Mocky) Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this Just wanna keep feelin' this (repeat) (Jamie) How did everything get so serious? How did everything get so real? I know the best things happen when we play So how did everything get so real? Tonight I'm gonna dance Forget about my sorrow I'm gonna put down my bags YEAH don’t worry about them 'til tomorrow

Starless Sky A starless sky A hopeless case of the dreams The movement of your lips is strained Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky This body paralyzed These lips are afraid Of the touch of your hand Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky In the darkness I can see you I can feel you I can love you And you will find me As we shine brightly We're helpless as we both Keep falling falling falling falling A twinkle in your eye A sudden crack in your voice Is our only light Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky Under a starless sky

Read My Mind (Nothing To Fear) We've both waited alone but One of these days I'll come home When the sun shines and the bird sings They're ready for whatever life brings Ooh ooh won't you read my mind Ooh ooh won't you read my mind 'cause a little bird got into my ear And told me if you'd hold me tight we'd have nothing to fear With a little luck we can make a new start Just let a little sunlight get in your heart I know I know that always what they all say But no one ever said it to you on a day like today Ooh ooh won't you read my mind Ooh ooh won't you read my mind 'cause a little bird got into my ear And told me if you'd hold me tight we'd have nothing to fear With a little luck we can make a new start Just let a little sunlight get in your heart Ooh ooh won't you read my mind Ooh ooh won't you read my mind Ooh ooh can't you read my mind 'cause a little bird got into my ear And told me if you'd hold me tight we'd have nothing to fear

Exception To The Rule I've heard love will Bring your eyes to tears And I've heard tales of Men being filled with fear so Tell me will you still be Tell me will you still be My exception to the rule Tell me will you still be Tell me will you still be My exception to the rule I've heard talk of hearts being broke in two But when it was my turn you always had the glue Tell me will you still be Tell me will you still be My exception to the rule Tell me will you still be Tell me will you still be My exception to the rule That says "love don't last, it gets the last laugh But you never can tell 'cause it moves too fast" Tell me will you still be Tell me will you still be My exception to the rule Tell me will you still be Tell me will you still be My exception to the rule That says "love don't last, it gets the last laugh But you never can tell 'cause it moves too fast" Will you be My exception to the rule

about

This extended version is exclusive to Mocky's Bandcamp and otherwise only available in Japan!!!

Fresh off the energy from last summer’s „Key Change“, described by The Fader as “a blissfully maniacal pastiche of sun-drop jazz”, Mocky has opened the vaults to bring us the third installment of his “Moxtape” series.
Featuring contributions from Jamie Lidell, Mr. Oizo, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and perfectly capturing the communal spirit and eclectic energy of his monthly „Mocky and friends“ jam sessions on the rooftop of the Ace Hotel where artists as diverse as Kelela, Feist or Lianne La Havas have surprised audiences with improvised performances with Mocky's band and where "the only plan is not to have a plan", as Mocky puts it. This has resulted in one of L.A.'s most treasured below-the-radar music nights that was recently discovered by Quincy Jones' Production Company and brought to LA's Lyric Theatre to rave reviews. „I was eager to bring some of the Berlin rawness to L.A. where everything can be so polished and pro all the time", says the Canadian by way of Berlin. "There's got to still be a way to break the rules!"
And you can hear this "rule breaking" on the genre defying new Moxtape which features the luscious strings and warm instrumentation we’ve come to expect from this versatile multi-instrumentalist. The former "Pre-DM" (as Mocky characterizes his „electronic“ phase in Berlin in the early 2000nds) producer keeps things organic yet modern as he warms the heart with his sweet vocals on “Exception to the Rule”, a radiant track that features breakout artists Joey Dosik on keyboards and Moses Sumney on background vocals. Mocky also recruits old pal Jamie Lidell for a vocal appearance on “Keep Feelin' This”, bringing back memories of their classic work together on Lidell’s “Multiply”. As bonus cuts exclusively for this edition that is only available on Mocky's Bandcamp outside of Japan, Mocky adds "Amaimono" a japanese version of "Sweet Things" from "Living Time" as well as the song "Starless Sky" (feat. Hilary Gay) and the instrumentals "Art Brakey", "Skipping Stone", "Peace Of Mine" and "Resonance".
